Oh, those Moody Blues!

What color does everyone not want to let go of no matter what trend reports tell us?

Oh, it’s got to be those moody blues! We are not talking powder blue here.  We are talking deep, bold and downright moody.  Think indigo, navy and sapphire in everything from pillows, lighting and decorative accessories to furniture, rugs and bedding.  It is a bold departure from the neutral, grey palette we love working with. What’s so great about it is that it is easy to add to that grey or neutral palette without changing too much. There’s no need to go crazy. Just by adding a few accent pieces like pillows and rugs or even going big with a dreamy upholstered sofa can have a dramatic effect. What we’re saying is that the moody, deep blue hue is here to stay and we are thrilled!

Afterall, out here in the Hamptons we are always in the mood for blue!  Being lucky enough to design the interiors of homes by the beach we have been playing with blue for quite some time, so we are ecstatic that our much loved and go to palette is going beyond the basics. The deeper the better!
