Sharing Past Projects…Take a Look!

Sheltering at home has given us a lot of time to reflect. We have been going through past projects and thought we would share some of our favorites over the next few weeks.

Here’s one recent project that we were fortunate to design from top to bottom!

A beach condominium in Westhampton was in need of fresh update, and our client wanted a casual coastal vibe in her home.  We were in love with the clean palette she desired, and were happy to get to work! From fully renovating the kitchen, to installing all new furniture, artwork, lighting, bedding and accessories throughout we were more than happy to put on our design thinking caps and deliver.

Since the condominium has an open floor plan we kept the design simple yet classy so nothing seemed overcrowded.  Comfortable seating from Four Season Furniture accompanied by coordinated pillows, gave the cozy living area that perfect coastal feel.  The round table allowed for more seating in the smaller dining area yet still felt spacious overlooking the kitchen and living room. We decided to keep the kitchen light and bright so that it felt larger.  Shaker antique white custom cabinetry, accompanied by  mother of pearl tile and a quartzite counter top added a fresh, clean dimension to the space.  To add that element of warmth to a very white space, we added a custom floating barnwood shelf  above the newly tiled fireplace. A gas insert completed the look. Once we accessorized in hues of blue, it all came together!

Heading upstairs we installed a high-traffic stylish, fun pattered rug from Dash & Albert.

Dash and Albert rug.

The second floor kept the same cool palette yet still felt warm and cozy as we toned down the brighter hues with grays and warm woods. Happy to report that she loved it!

While we love all projects, large and small, doing a complete renovation allows us the amazing opportunity to completely design a home from scratch. This project was a favorite. We were able to turn a somewhat smaller space into an larger coastal haven for a wonderful client!  Stay tuned for more of our recent projects in upcoming blogs and let us know what you think!

Cheers, Diane
