WHAT WE DID LAST SUMMER

WHAT WE DID LAST SUMMER

A few weeks ago I shared a fun condominium project on the blog. Today I am sharing a few smaller  projects that kept us busy last summer that I think you will like. These clients all wanted a fresh, crisp color scheme in their homes, and since that is our forte, we were more happy to oblige. White bamboo chairs got a striking makeover with a dose of blue in Thibaut turtle print fabric. The custom cushions added that much needed pop of color to a relatively neutral palette, and changed the whole room.

This kitchen renovation turned what was formally a dark, closed off space into an open hang out oasis. White and grey custom cabinetry accompanied by ceramic subway tile and stainless finishes in the hardware, faucet and appliances created a polished, clean look that allowed for ample working space for the home chefs! The wet bar made for a great entertaining vibe too.     A modest space living space in Westhampton Beach condominium got a large makeover.  A classic slip covered Four Seasons sofa in white Crypton fabric with light-blue piping and coordinating fern patterned pillows created an intimate clean sitting area that still feels spacious.  We installed a limestone coffee table with warm wood features to balance out the mostly white space to create warmth.  A swivel chair from Four Seasons in a sea mist stripe from Thibaut fabrics defines the small reading nook in front of a built in bookshelf.  To add dimension we installed Romo striped grass cloth to the back of the bookcase, and kept the accessories spare so as to not over accommodate the space.  In keeping with the serenity of the home, cottage blue dining chairs, a glass dining table from Universal and tweed, fabric and driftwood leg Design Masters barstools allowed the space to remain open and feel larger than it seemed. An overhead pendant light set the tone for coastal cool! Another satisfied client! Hope you enjoyed some of our  interior design makeovers! Do you have a space that needs an stylish update? Reach out and let us know how we can help you! Cheers, Diane
